Short version: the Clearo website uses only the essential storage it needs to work. We don't use advertising cookies or third-party tracking, and we don't follow you around the web.
What we use
"Cookies" and similar technologies (like your browser's local storage) let a website remember small pieces of information. On getclearo.com we currently use only the following strictly necessary items:

That's it for storage. We do not set advertising, profiling or cross-site tracking cookies. To understand how the site is used we rely on Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless: it stores nothing on your device, does not identify you, and cannot follow you to other websites.
Consent
Because the items above are strictly necessary for the site to function, they don't require consent under UK/EU rules. We show a brief notice so you know they exist. If we ever introduce optional analytics or other non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first through a banner that lets you accept or reject each category, with rejection as the default, and we will update this policy.
Controlling cookies
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser settings at any time. Doing so won't break the site, though you may see the cookie notice again.
The Clearo app
The mobile app doesn't use website cookies. How the app handles data, including any optional in-app analytics, is described in our Privacy Policy.
